Product Description

The QB series insulation monitor uses low-frequency AC injection method to reliably and accurately monitor the system insulation resistance, system capacitance, bus voltage, positive and negative voltage to ground, positive and negative insulation resistance to ground, and positive and negative insulation resistance to ground of DC and IT systems (ungrounded systems). Parameters such as alarm event records can be remotely transmitted to the host computer through the 485 protocol. Different measurement conditions can be selected from the setup menu, allowing for the optimization of measurement technology for special applications.

During operation, the insulation monitor continuously monitors the insulation resistance of the entire IT system, and when the value is lower than the preset response value, an alarm is triggered. The device must be connected between the IT system (ungrounded system) and the PE line to obtain the measured value. The measured values in the uA range superimposed on the system are recorded and measured by a microcontroller.
